Who should I see

First Care Practitioner - FCP

If you have MSK related problems such as back pain or shoulder pain, you can see our on site Physiotherapist - Bintal Satti please ask to book with her

Mental Health Worker

We have an on site mental health worker who can discuss your condition and signpost you for appropriate help. If you're feeling low or anxious, please consider booking with her. She offers half an hour appointments.

Social Prescriber

We also have a social prescribing service that can help you with non-medical social needs. E.g. if you are feeling stressed, lonely, anxious, would like to be more active or meet others in your local community. They can also help signpost you to correct services if you need benefits advice, have housing concerns or need extra support with caring needs.

NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service - CPCS

If you have a minor ailment such as coughs and colds, insect bites/stings, athletes foot, thrush etc. Reception can book you in with our local pharmacist who will be able to provide appropriate over the counter medication.

Healthy Minds

If you are having low mood or anxiety, you can self refer to healthy minds for CBT / counselling. Their phone number is 0121 3012525 and their website is: www.bsmhft.nhs.uk/our-services/birmingham-healthy-minds

Social Services

For any adult social care support you may self refer to their services e.g. Blue Badge enquiries, help in your own home, help with disabilities or specific needs or paying for adult care and support etc. Their phone number is 0121 303 1234 and their email: CSAdultSocialCare@birmingham.gov.uk or you can visit their website: www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/20018/adult_social_care

Walk in Centre

If you would like to be seen on the same day by a GP or ANP and we have run out of appointments, you can go to the walk in centre which is based in the Summerfield Primary Care Centre building. You may need to wait to be seen however they are open 7 days a week and can see you on the same day.
